Teacher CPD: Storm the Castle!
Event Description
Led by professional dance practitioner and teacher Mel Knott, and hosted by De Montfort University, this practical session will focus on cross-curricular approaches to learning in and through dance. Throughout time there have been invasions, battles and conquests which have changed our history. Find out how to take your class through a series of physical, creative tasks which enable them to develop and communicate their knowledge and understanding in this expressive non-verbal form. Gain new approaches to developing movement ideas, tasks and structuring a group dance for your class, all of which are transferable to any theme. Get involved and gain high quality creative learning possibilities through dance.
