The UK Kids' Comedy Festival

The UK Kids' Comedy Festival was set up in 2019 and is the first ever comedy festival aimed at children and families. The Festival takes place in Leicester, each February, with some of the biggest names in family friendly comedy. The Festival is produced by registered charity, Big Difference Company, in partnership with The Spark Arts, Curve, The Mighty Creatives and Leicester City Council.

What We Offer

In addition to individual festival shows we also work on a variety of projects with schools and local comedians.

Our pioneering comedy projects; Loving Laughing and Laugh Term Comedy School provide an opportunity for children and young people to learn the basics of comedy performance and develop their own comedy set. Each project culminates in a live performance.

These projects can improve students language skills, self esteem, confidence, presentation skills and trust. They have a positive impact on mental health, well-being, and general success at school.
