Everyone can be inspired to develop their own creativity. Creativity permeates every walk of life and is celebrated and encouraged across Britain's 21st century diverse communities.

Inspirate's core business is in the creation of festivals, events and educational activities. Our flagship festival, An Indian summer explores contemporary South Asian arts and culture and our string of digital programmes aim to connect technology with creative education. Inspirate is also a collaborator of Bring The Paint festival, as well as bespoke community projects in Leicester.

What We Offer

Example 1:

This brand new downloadable activity book has something creative for you and the whole family to get stuck into, and there’s something different for every day of the festival. Whether you’ve got 10 minutes or 2 hours, you’ll find something South Asian inspired that you can create, paint, stick, draw or make.

If you are a young person up to the age of 25, then you can use this activity book to gain your Arts Award Explore certificate. Arts Award is a range of unique qualifications that supports anyone aged up to 25 to grow as artists and arts leaders.

Example 2:

We are collaborating with Attenborough Arts and Little Inventors to produce a creative education programme that inspires children to use their imagination and create magnificent invention ideas in response to a real-life challenge. The workshops will be delivered in special schools in Leicester and selected invention ideas will be brought to life.

Example 3:

We would like to invite 30 primary school children to participate in a short laughter yoga session. The purpose of this workshop is to create a shared experience between different generations of communities in Leicester, as well as research if the sessions are beneficial for everyone involved. Here is an example that was carried out by Channel 4, which focussed on children spending quality time with older adults.
