Dean Leivers
I am a photographer based in Leicestershire. A graduate of University College Falmouth’s degree programme in 2008 since then, I have worked extensively as a freelance artist and educator, also completing my PGCE in 2010.
Believing that photography has the power to connect, tell stories and provide us with lasting memories I'm motivated to investigate my surroundings through photography. Current practice/research interests are portraiture, landscape and the way that photography can utilise these styles to unpick and document a wider community.
What We Offer
I can provide sessions covering the following:
- Basic DSLR control
- Shutter speed control
- Photoshop techniques
- Historical process (Cyanotypes)
- Studio photography projects
All workshops can be delivered as stand alone sessions focusing on a particular technique or in the past I have developed a series of workshops that culminate in a "Live brief" to give participants a flavour of working to a brief in a professional context.
