Powerful Poetry

Event Description

Join The Spark for a free CPD webinar, aimed at primary school teachers, to increase confidence in delivering poetry activities in the classroom. Led by renowned artist and poet, John Berkavitch.

This workshop aims to:

- Demystify poetry, breaking down stigma around what poetry is and should be

- Make poetry fun and accessible – for you and your children!

- Equip you with knowledge, skill and signpost further resources for you to develop your own Poetry Toolkit

- Inspire you to lead some poetic activity for National Writing Day on Wednesday 24 June 2020

Good writing is the right words in the right order.

Good poetry is the best words in the best order.

All participants will be automatically invited to a follow up Zoom session, with poet John Berkavitch, on Tuesday 30 June at 4pm to share and reflect their learning.
